The Public Information Office reports the details of a car fire that occurred on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 4:28 pm in Oceanside.
According to police, officers responded to a car fire in the parking lot of 3577 Long Beach Road. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle on fire which spread to four (4) other vehicles, causing them all to become fully engulfed. Oceanside Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fires. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
