Hempstead, NY - September 18th, 2014 - Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a murder that occurred in Hempstead on Wednesday, 09/17/14 at 12:23 P.M.
According to detectives, Troy Bell, 31, of Far Rockaway, was found shot on Linden Ave./S. Franklin Rd., by a passerby. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead by a staff physician at 12:53 P.M.
