Retailers Gear Up for 4th of July Sales

Various retailers around the country will join in on 4th of July festivities by providing discounts throughout their stores.

The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and that means people all around Long Island and across the US will be gathering to have barbecues, watch fireworks, and celebrate Independence Day. While there are plenty of reasons to spend the day celebrating, big box retailers will also be using the extended weekend to promote sales and discounts as they prepare for an increased stream of customers.

Among the many stores  offering 4th of July savings this week, you can expect steep discounts on appliances and electronics from the likes of Best Buy and Sears, as well as hardware and tool from Home Depot and Harbor Freight, Stores that have already announced all or part of their weekend sales include:

Highlights from these sales include a 55" Samsung 4k TV for $999.99 at Best Buy, a 25 cu. ft. Whirlpool French door refrigerator for $998 at Lowe's, and 20-40% off assorted appliances at Sears. There will also be 50% off assorted apparel, sports equipment, and other items at Dick's, as well as 25% off any one regularly priced item at Harbor Freight.
