VALLEY STREAM, NY - Central Veterinary Associates, P.C. has received accreditation from the New York State Veterinary Facility Accreditation Program (VFAP). This is an additional rigorous accreditation program that the Valley Stream location signed up for and passed. The organization cited Central Veterinary Associates for its state-of-the-art facility and its top-notch patient care.

The VFAP is a volunteer program operated by the New York State Veterinary Medical Society (NYSVMS), a professional association representing more than 3,500 veterinarians registered to practice in New York State. The MYSVMS promotes the practice of veterinary medicine, animal well-being and public health and offers a broad scope of programs and services to keep veterinarians and the public informed about issues, laws and regulations affecting veterinary practice.

In addition to receiving accreditation from the New York State VFAP, Central Veterinary Associates and its six locations in Nassau and Queens Counties are certified by the American Animal Hospital Association.

"We are very pleased to receive this accreditation from this prominent organization," said Dr. Steven Fox, DVM, Chief Executive Officer and President, Central Veterinary Associates. "It is an honor to know that we are recognized for offering the latest medical technology for our patients and the ability to provide them the optimal care they deserve."
