Real leather furniture can last decades and add a timeless look to a space. It can be difficult to distinguish between genuine leather and "split", "bonded" or faux (fake leather) options.

Look for genuine leather couches or uneven edges that suggest the leather is genuine. Genuine leather may also have bumpy edges or "fat wrinkles".
