World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Items that can be added to weapons, trinkets, and armor in order to increase their stats are called upgrades to the item. They are available through missions, vendors and on the Trading Post.

Upgrades to gear can improve the effectiveness of your ship/character in battle. Gear that is upgraded increases Mark Level and rarity.
