Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The statistics of an item are improved by upgrading it, also known as "upping". Each upgrade increment boosts a stat linearly.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time in order to gain an ability to gauge the level of each of the upgraded components. The cost of recycling an item scales with its rarity and level.
