Treating Add

The treatment of add is a combination of medications, counseling and education. Medications for attention deficit disorder (ADD) are usually stimulant drugs such as methylphenidate, amphetamine and dextroamphetamine-amphetamine (Adderall XR, Vyvanse). Atomoxetine, guanfacine and other non-stimulants are available.
