If your 500 keyfob stops functioning, try another to see if it can be detected by your car. If it does, the issue may be due to the battery or water damage to the fob that was originally used.

Replace the battery first. Make sure that the new # CR2032 coin cell battery is properly inserted with the "+" side facing down in the fob.
