Two Men Arrested in Connection with Multiple Burglaries Throughout Nassau County

Joshua B. Mellado-Gonzalez, 32, and Mauricio J. Fuentes-Jimenez, 31, are both charged with twelve counts of Burglary 2nd Degree.

The Fifth Squad reports the arrest of two men for multiple Burglaries that occurred within the confines of Nassau County.
 
According to Fifth Squad Detectives, a thorough investigation in conjunction with the First Squad, Burglary Pattern Squad and the Lynbrook Police Department, determined that Joshua B. Mellado-Gonzalez, 32, of 9021 Winchester Boulevard, Queens Village and Mauricio J. Fuentes-Jimenez, 31, of 9021 Winchester Boulevard, Queens Village were responsible for multiple Burglaries that occurred in Nassau County on the following dates:
 
  • 11/29/22 – 79 Madison Street, Lynbrook
  • 11/30/22 – 203 Rockaway Parkway, Valley Stream
  • 12/01/22 – 19 Belmont Avenue, Elmont
  • 12/01/22 – 292 Walton Street, West Hempstead
  • 12/08/22 – 80 Ocean Avenue, Lynbrook
  • 12/09/22 – 203 Parkway, Valley Stream
  • 12/13/22 – 30 Ocean Avenue, Lynbrook
  • 12/16/22 – 29 Vassar Place, Lynbrook
  • 12/27/22 – 404 Whitehall Street, Lynbrook
  • 12/27/22 – 355 North Forest Avenue, Rockville Centre
  • 12/28/22 – 69 West Clinton Avenue, Roosevelt
  • 12/28/22 – 699 DeMott Avenue, Baldwin
 
After an extensive investigation, it was determined that the proceeds are valued at approximately $150,000.00 US currency.
 
Defendants Mellado-Gonzalez and Fuentes-Jimenez are both charged with twelve counts of Burglary 2nd Degree. Both defendants were arraigned on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at First District Court, Hempstead.
