Brentwood, NY - December 16th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash with another vehicle in Brentwood.

A driver operating a Nissan Sentra was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Bergen Street and Suffolk Avenue on May 11 at approximately 7:10 a.m. when he fled the scene without stopping. A passenger in the other car suffered a fractured femur and was transported to Southside Hospital for treatment.  

The Nissan was described as silver with a North Carolina license plate and suffered front-end damage, including a missing front bumper. The driver was described as a male, possibly Hispanic, with dark skin and dark hair. His vehicle was last seen fleeing north on Bergen Street.

Anyone with information about this crime, or the vehicle involved, is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
