Oceanside, NY - October 11th, 2013 - The Robbery Squad is investigating a jewelry store Robbery that occurred in Oceanside on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 1:17 P.M.
According to detectives, two unknown male subjects entered Ritz Jewelers at 3548 Long Beach Road, displayed a handgun to two employees and began to take assorted jewelry from display cases. In addition to the jewelry the subjects demanded money from the cash register. They then fled the store in an unknown direction of travel. The first subject is described as a male black in his twenties, 5’08” tall, wearing a dark baseball cap, royal blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers. Subject two is described as an unknown male in his twenties, 5’08” tall, wearing a knit type mask and teal colored Adidas hooded sweatshirt. No injuries were reported.
