East Meadow, NY - November 20th, 2013 - The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in East Meadow on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 10:35 P.M.
According to detectives, a 42 year old female victim was loading packages into her vehicle after just exiting the Wal-Mart at 2465 Hempstead Turnpike when she was confronted by an unknown male black subject described as 6’00” tall with a stocky build. The subject demanded the victim’s pocketbook which contained her cell phone and unknown amount of U.S. currency and after obtaining the property he stabbed the victim in the left forearm with an unknown object. The subject then fled the scene in an unknown red vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital by police ambulance where she was treated for a non life threatening injury.
