The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident which occurred on Fisher’s Island, Town of Southold, Suffolk County.
Troopers responded to East End Drive on Fisher’s Island and located Kevin Brown, 27, of Baltic, CT who had sustained significant head trauma after falling from the trunk of a 2011 Hyundai Genesis. The victim was transported to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, CT where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver and the vehicle involved were located on Fisher’s Island and an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing at this time. At the present time, no criminal charges have been filed while the incident is further investigated.
