On Saturday, July 1, 2023, just before midnight, the State Police responded to a motorcycle crash Southern State Parkway westbound near exit 15 in the town of Hempstead, Nassau County.
The operator of the motorcycle, Herving Armond 38 of Huntington Station, NY, was riding a 2009 Suzuki when his motorcycle went off the roadway and struck a sign killing him instantly.
The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) and Forensic Identification Unit (FIU) all responded to the scene.
This crash is under investigation and the State Police is asking for any witnesses or anyone with information to call (631) 756-3300.
