For over fifty years, Mario’s Pizzeria has been serving up slices to Long Islanders, starting in Oyster Bay, first opened in 1969. Following that first pizzeria opened in the Age of Aquarius, more followed with shops in Syosset, Plainview, Westbury and Seaford. Now, a new Mario’s has opened in Levittown.
On Yelp, Sandra G, from Levittown, said that she doesn’t normally like pizza but Mario’s is the exception.
“I've visited this place just out of curiosity but wow,” she wrote. “The place is absolutely beautiful, super clean and everyone has a nice attitude, the pizza... amazing, so fresh and delicious... Now, I do love pizza! Mario's pizza.”
Diana C, from Astoria, Queens, gave it four stars.
“This place isn't your ordinary pizza spot, the food is FRESH, the place is CLEAN, and the customer service is PHENOMENAL,” she wrote. “Get to ordering guys!”
