Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Hicksville man on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11:00 PM for multiple Burglaries that occurred throughout Nassau County.
According to Burglary Pattern Detectives, an investigation was conducted that led to the arrest of Jonathan Bird, 35, of 57 1 st Street, Hicksville. During the investigation it was determined that Bird was responsible for the following Burglaries:
05/05/22 - Broadway Deli, 21 Broadway, Hicksville
05/05/22 - San Eduardo Deli, 40 Jerusalem Avenue, Hicksville
05/08/22 - J & S Deli, 16 Newbridge Road, Hicksville
05/17/22 - The Bagel Shop, 1075 Old Country Road, New Cassel
05/19/22 - Mala Madre Taqueria, 1610 Old Country Road, Westbury
05/20/22 - Angelo’s Pizza, 215 Glen Cove Road, Carle Place
05/21/22 - J & J Bagel and Deli, 209 Glen Cove Road, Carle Place
05/23/22 - Deli Espinoza, 282 Hempstead Tpke, West Hempstead
05/24/22 - Sugar Bae Café, 259 West Old Country Road, Hicksville
The defendant Jonathan Bird is charged with (9) nine counts of Burglary 3rd Degree. He is also charged with Harassment 2nd Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Making a Terroristic Threat from a prior Domestic incident. He will be arraigned when medically practical.
