Twenty Long Island High Schools Make List of Best in the U.S.

According to Newsday, 20 high schools in Nassau and Suffolk counties have made the list of the best high schools in the nation as ranked by U.S. News & World Reports.

 

The rankings include data on nearly 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia, the publication said in the report published on its website.

 

Newsday counted 15 top high schools in the report from Nassau County and two from Suffolk.

 

The top high school on Long Island is Jericho Senior High School, which ranked 15th within New York State. In Suffolk, the top school in the list was Cold Spring Harbor High School, ranked 34th within New York.
