Selden, NY - April 19, 2016 - Annmarie Trksak, a Suffolk County Community College Culinary student took home a second place trophy at the prestigious 2016 Atlantic Bakery Expo presented by the New Jersey Bakers Board of Trade and the New York State Association of Manufacturing Retail Bakers recently.

Trksak’s entry, Noah’s Ark, was an ark shaped rolled fondant cake with pairs of fondant animals on the deck of the ark.  Trksak’s prize included $200, a trophy and medal.

Trksak, from Holbrook, plans to complete her certificate program studies at Suffolk County Community College in May of 2017.
