NCPD: Teen in Custody in Connection with Several Burglaries at Roosevelt Field Mall

Naeshaun Hall of Hempstead, 19, was discovered with a large sum of currency taken from multiple stores inside the mall, cops say.

The Third Squad reports the Arrest of a Hempstead man for Burglary that occurred on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 3:49 A.M. in East Garden City.
 
According to detectives, a security guard for Roosevelt Field Mall, located at 630 Old Country Road, East Garden City was monitoring surveillance cameras when he observed an unknown subject entering several unauthorized areas of the mall during non-business hours. Police were alerted and a short time later a male subject matching the one seen in surveillance footage was found walking in the parking lot. 
 
He was stopped and identified as defendant Naeshaun Hall, 19, of Hempstead and placed into custody without incident. A further investigation revealed he was in possession of a ski mask, a kitchen knife and a large sum of US currency that was taken from multiple stores inside the Roosevelt Field Mall.
 
Defendant Naeshaun Hall is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and six counts of Burglary 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
