The All Kids Fair is a combination of education and activities expo and health and wellness fair. It offers entertainment choices for toddlers through high school, including kids who have special needs or are gifted. Over 80 exhibitor spaces and 24 kids’ classes provided valuable information for kids and their parents and grandparents. Exhibitors included schools, camps, after school activities, birthday party ideas, college planning, photography, and kids’ products.  Some of the classes children shared with their parents and grandparents were archery (the hands-down favorite), crafts, book reading, baby ballet, and GaGa.

72 pounds of food and $280 were collected by The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network), who also educated attendees about their services. Those who donated food or funds received raffle tickets to win a variety of donated prizes.

All Kids Fair Director Barbara Kaplan expressed her appreciation. “Every year, we grow bigger and better.  We had a great lineup of kids’ classes, vendors, and surprises for the kids.  Seeing their happy faces makes this event worth coordinating.”

Sponsors this year were Long Island Parent Magazine, Your Local Kids Source, Macaroni Kid, and Long Island Media Inc.

The Fair is produced by Specialty Connections, which also coordinates events at Walt Whitman Shops, Smith Haven Mall and other venues.
