Blakeman Honors High School Senior For Collecting 100’s of Toys for Hewlett House Children’s Room

Recently, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman joined Hewlett House Executive Director Geri Barish, volunteers, and patients to honor Bellmore John F. Kennedy High School Senior Marci Baldinger for collecting hundreds of toys and donating them to the children's room of the Hewlett House. The Hewlett House is a non-profit community learning resource center open to patients of all cancers and their families, the center survives solely on donations and volunteerism. 
 
"With young leaders like Marci taking initiative to help those in need, the future of our county is bright." Said County Executive Bruce Blakeman." I want to thank Marci, Geri and the whole team at the Hewlett house for coming together and helping to provide critical resources to our residents when they need them the most."
