The Robbie Levine Foundation was founded in memory of 9-year-old Robbie Levine, who died at his little league practice while running the bases of sudden cardiac arrest on September 27, 2005. The foundation was created to honor the memory of Robbie and to raise awareness of the need and importance of Automated External Defibrillators to save lives, a piece of equipment that could have saved Robbie’s life had it have been available at the time of Robbie’s tragedy. Having defibrillators at school and youth sporting events can save lives, and The Robbie Levine Foundation works to help teams and leagues obtain AEDs and learn how to use them.
