This 18-hole semi-private golf course was designed by Roger Tooker in 1972. It has a par value of 73 and ranges in distance from 5,218 yards to 7,030 yards. Golfers have the option to choose different tees from which to play. Majestic pines line the plush fairways and the greens seem enchanting and lovely. There are six water hazards on the course. The deceptively long and forgiving front nine holes give way to a hilly and winding inward half. All skill levels will be thoroughly tested by this challenging layout. The course is always well-manicured. Golf Links has rated Pine Hills as “One of the Top 100 Courses” of 21,000 reviewed. Other amenities include a Pro shop, a large practice facility with driving range, practice areas, a 9-hole putting green, rental equipment, and on-site lessons from the teaching pro. Although this is a public course, membership offers some advantages. The facility is open daily from April through November.
