The Long Island Roller Rebels are an All-Female, WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) sanctioned roller derby league. Founded in 2005, the league consists of three home teams - the Wicked Wheelers, the Ladies of Laceration, and the Rolling Thundercats, - plus two travel teams - the Long Island Roller Rebel All-Stars, which consists of the leagues strongest veteran players, and the Rock-A-Betty Bruisers, a mixed team of vets and fresh blood.

The LIRR participates in inter-league bouts up and down the East Coast of the United State. As of 2009, intra-league bouts have attracted 350-400 fans to their regular venue, Skate Safe America in Old Bethpage. The Roller Rebels also participate in the annual East Coast Derby Extravaganza (ECDX), held in Pennsylvania, where players compete in comically themed bouts over the course of a weekend.
