Cedar Beach resides on the North Shore and spans 3,450 feet on the rocky Long Island Sound. Cedar Beach has a marina for boaters, a fishing pier and is a great spot for surfers. The beach also includes a nature path that includes a wooden path overlooking the Sound with a pavilion, perfect for visitors to stop and rest or to find some shade in which to enjoy lunch. The paved path takes visitors through brush and wooded areas, and eventually leads to Cedar Beach’s Nature Center where guests will learn about Long Island wildlife through touch tanks and other hands-on exhibits.
