The New York premiere of Adoption=Love, a documentary narrated by Darryl McDaniels of Run-D.M.C., will take place on Saturday, October 21, at St. John’s University in Queens. The event is free, and doors open at 7 p.m. with an 8 p.m. showtime. A Q&A session will follow the screening.

 

Adoption=Love is a documentary that shares all aspects of the adoption process from the start of the journey to adoption finalization. The film captures the experiences and emotions of adopted parents, birth parents, and adoptees. It spans adult, international, private, foster care, and agency adoptions. 

 

All are welcome to attend the screening of this film produced by The New York State Judicial Institute. The event is an educational opportunity for those in the adoption field, those interested in the adoption process, or those who want to share in an emotional telling across all aspects of the adoption journey. 

 

Pre-register online for the event by October 14. The movie contains adult content and the suggested rating is PG13. St. John’s University is located at 8000 Utopia Parkway in Queens.
