Roosevelt Porch Pirate Nabbed by Nassau County Police, Officials Say

The First Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt man for two Petit Larcenies that occurred on May 7 and 11, 2019 in Roosevelt.
 
According to Detectives, defendant Aaron Young, 36, of Roosevelt did remove a package from a porch located on Grant Street on May 7, 2019 and again on May 11, 2019 from a porch located on Beechwood Avenue. The home on Grant Street used a Ring doorbell system to record the theft and the home on Beechwood Avenue also used video surveillance. The defendant was placed into custody without incident in front of 24 Willet Place Roosevelt, however provided a false name and date of birth to the officers.
 
Defendant Aaron Young is charged with two counts of Petit Larceny, False Personation, Bail Jumping 3rd Degree and two open warrants from previous charges for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Disorderly Conduct. He was arraigned in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
