COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING * WHAT...Up to a foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...Southwestern Suffolk County. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 9 PM EDT this evening around times of high tide. * IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is potential for minor coastal flooding with the Saturday morning high tide cycle.

Happy New Year to all!! OK, so we made it through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I made smart (mostly) choices eating and drinking and here I am in the new year with my pants ...

Happy New Year to all!!

OK, so we made it through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I made smart (mostly) choices eating and drinking and here I am in the new year with my pants only a little tighter! That is a victory!!

Now I have to consider what changes, if any, I would like to make in my life, habits etc., I am fairly happy with my weight, but I am not so happy with the way I feel. Not as tight as I used to be, and not as much energy. So, what do I do?

1. Drink more water - Very important after the holidays. I have spent about a month stuffing myself with toxins, it's about time to wash them out. A glass (not a little cup) every two hours works nicely.

2. Review my supplements - What am I taking and what am I taking it for? A good muli vitamin is a must and no, one a day will not do. If you are not sure what to add in addition, look on the internet, email me for some sites. The last thing you want to do is go to your local store and ask them what to take, that is like asking the cook, what's good?
Should I use a fat loss supplement?
It depends on what that supplement is. Research is the key.

3. Do something physical - Use it or lose it!! I don't care what you do, but do something!! Get your butt off of the couch and move it, you will feel better, look better and be a happier person.
