North Bellmore, NY - September 22, 2013 - According to detectives, a 24 year old male operating a 1994 Buick exited the westbound Southern State Parkway to northbound Newbridge Road and made an illegal “U” turn colliding with a 1995 Oldsmobile traveling northbound on Newbridge Road. The 28 year old male operator of the Oldsmobile complained of pain to his knees but refused medical assistance at the scene. The 24 year old was transported to a local hospital where he was admitted and is listed in stable condition. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Detectives report no apparent criminality at this time.
