Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run in Coram

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Coram last night.

A female pedestrian was struck by a white sedan in Coram. The driver left the seen, leaving the pedestrian in serious condition. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 631-854-8652 or 800-220-TIPS.

Coram, NY - June 2, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Coram last night.

A female pedestrian was attempting to cross Route 112 near Middle Country Road when she was struck by a white sedan that was travelling northbound on Route 112 at 11:48 p.m. The operator fled the scene in the vehicle, continuing northbound on Route 112, possibly past Middle Country Road.

The unidentified pedestrian was transported by Coram Fire Department Ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital where she is listed in serious condition.
