More widespread minor flooding around the times of high tide between 9 PM and midnight Thursday night. Additional minor coastal flooding is possible around the times of high tide Friday night. * Impacts...minor flooding of the most vulnerable shore roads and/or properties due to height of storm tide or wave splashover. Majority of roads remain passable with only isolated closures. There is no significant threat to life and any impact on property is minimal. This type of event is covered by a coastal Flood Advisory. A man is wanted for fleeing from a Huntington Station store with a stolen necklace.

Huntington Station, NY - February 17, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole jewelry from a store in Huntington Station last month.
 
A man entered Macy’s, located at 160 Walt Whitman Road, and asked a store clerk to see a necklace on January 25, 2014 at 6:15 p.m. The clerk gave him the necklace and the man took it and fled the store.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
