"Areal Flood Advisory" The National Weather Service in Upton NY has issued an * Urban Flood Advisory for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in... far southeastern Suffolk County in southeast New York... * until 100 am EDT. * At 1107 PM EDT...radar indicated thunderstorms moving into areas on the South Fork of Long Island that received 1 to 2 inches of rain earlier this evening. Up to an additional inch of rain is possible there and elsewhere on the South Fork between now and 1 am...causing additional minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of floods. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. Uniondale, New York - On March 5, 2012 the Uniondale Chamber of Commerce will be presenting its monthly general membership meeting.   The guest speaker will be Phil Andrews, President – 100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc. Mr. Andrews is a Master Networker in the Long Island region and will be highlighting ways to increase business sales and increase your networking capacity.  Mr. Andrews is the owner of the Power Networking Business Seminar Series and has conducted business events in the NYC/Long Island Region for well over 20 years.
 
About: Phil Andrews - Phil Andrews is President of the 100 Black Men of Long Island. Founded in 1974, "The 100" serves as an international coalition focused on creating educational opportunities, promoting economic empowerment, addressing health disparities and creating positive mentoring relationships. As founder of of P.A. Public Relations Company, Phil has been afforded the privilege to serve as Public Relations Director for a myriad of companies, community initiatives and professional organizations. Andrews' business acumen is often sought after by organizations that host major events, benefits and fundraisers.
