Every year we try to do something holiday themed, and this year my kids voted on the Bayville scream park. I didn't think it'd be scary for some reason, maybe just because I am so numb to this sort of thing (too many horror movies). I was WRONG. The manor was TERRIFYING. Scared me at least as much as my kids! The rest of the areas were cool too, but them manor was definitely the highlight of the experience.

There are five different areas here to explore, and some of them are awesome, while others didn't do it for me. I wasn't a huge fan of the pirates area for example, which was too well lit and just not that effective. But the Bloodworth Manor is really impressive, easily one of the most effective haunts in the area. Very scary! I liked the funhouse a lot too. And was really impressed with the woods. Not so into the temple, but it wasn't bad. I'd come back here just to go in the manor again though, so check it out--that part is awesome, and some of the other areas are cool too.
