Anthony Baptiste of Brentwood, 32, was sentenced today to 46 years to life for Operating as a Major Trafficker.

Suffolk County, NY - December 15, 2017 - A 32 year old Brentwood man was sentenced today to 46 years to life for Operating as a Major Trafficker, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree, Conspiracy 2nd degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 1st degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree.
 
After a six week trial Anthony Baptiste was found guilty and was sentenced today by Justice Mark Cohen. Baptiste was the Long Island distributor of heroin for a major drug supply ring. At the time of his arrest he had approximately a ¼ kilo of heroin in his possession that was intended for sale in Suffolk County.
