On Saturday, April 27, 2024, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office Hockey Team will be taking on the New York Cancer Foundation in a charity hockey game at Clark Gillies Arena, 575 Vanderbilt Parkway, Dix Hills, NY. The doors open at 6:30 PM and the puck drops at 7:00 PM. Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon, Jr. will be hitting the ice himself for the face off to fight cancer.

This ultimate charity showdown is the fourth annual “Hockey For Hope.” The event will feature raffles, vendors, and activities for all ages. NY Islander Alumni Benoit Hogue is expected to be in attendance.   All proceeds will benefit the NY Cancer Foundation and their mission of relieving financial stresses experienced by Long Islanders currently battling cancer. Last year’s event raised more than $30,000 to support the cause. For more information, please visit www.SCSOHockey.com
