Legislators Lindsay & Martinez Partner with State Farm & Canary to “Protect The Protectors”

Legislators Lindsay & Martinez distributed 500 Canary Home Security Devices to volunteer firefighters as well as EMS workers to thank them for keeping our communities safe.

Sayville, NY - March 30th, 2016 - Legislators Bill Lindsay and Monica Martinez teamed up with State Farm and Canary to distribute 500 Canary Home Security Devices to volunteer firefighters as well as EMS workers to thank the first responders for their efforts in keeping our communities safe.

Canary is a modern approach to security that lets residents protect the people and places they care about the most. Canary sends intelligent notifications with HD video and audio directly to smartphones reinforcing their commitment to building safer and stronger communities.

The departments that received Canary Devices are Bayport Fire Department, Blue Point Fire Department, Bohemia Fire Department, Sayville Fire Department, West Sayville – Oakdale Fire Department, Holbrook Fire Department, Community Ambulance Company, East Brentwood Fire Department, Central Islip – Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance and Brentwood Legion Ambulance.

Martinez. “Our first responders can rest assured while they’re out protecting our communities their families are being protected as well. It was an honor to be part of this great initiative.”
