Clay Oven, the Indian restaurant in Selden has changed owners. According to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page by owner and chef Lubna Habibi, Clay Oven is moving to a new and bigger location soon.

In the meantime, the restaurant at 1245 Middle Country Road changed virtually overnight to a new spot called Curry Leaf.

Clay Oven, which started as a food truck, opened in Selden a little under a year ago.

The closing surprised longtime fans of Clay Oven but Habibi assured patrons she will be back within a few days with an announcement.

“Hold your appetite, few more days,” she wrote. Saying to stay tuned for the news.
