The First Squad reports the arrest of a male juvenile for an Assault that occurred on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 12:50 p.m. in Freeport.
According to Detectives, two male juvenile students of Freeport High School, located at 50 S. Brookside Avenue, were involved in an altercation that became physical. During the altercation, a 15-year-old male juvenile did use a boxcutter knife to cause lacerations to a 14-year-old male juvenile.
Accompanied by his parent the 14-year-old male juvenile victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested without incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
