The temperatures may still be summer-like, but fall is ready to come in like a blaze of glory. The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze returns to Long Island for the 2023 season at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration from September 22 to November 5.

Blaze Long Island is a family-friendly nighttime walk-through event that will light up the night at Old Bethpage's 19th-century village. Visitors can stroll the pumpkin trail past historic buildings and barns and immerse themselves in a fall wonderland of more than 7,000 spectacular hand-carved jack o'lanterns. A spooky soundtrack, synchronized lighting, and special effects set the mood.

New pumpkin displays and activities for 2023 

 

Blaze Long Island will have its popular larger-than-life jack o’lantern displays and introduces several new features and activities this year, including:

 

A giant pumpkin-octopus

A gourd-geous mythical Montauk mermaid

Kid-friendly Pumpkin Pals

Giant 100+ pound carved Prizewinner pumpkins

Live pumpkin carving every night

Attendees can also explore the Hall of Fame, gaze at the Pumpkin Planterium, and find their favorite Hollywood monsters. Round out the fall fun with cider donuts and pumpkin beer at Café Blaze.
