Seafood and wine lovers rejoice! August on The East End of Long Island is not just for the "Rich and Famous". On Sunday August 14th, guests will explore three great North Fork wineries for the day, sipping new wine releases and strolling through the cellars and lush vineyards. In the afternoon, the group will make a visit to the historic seaport village of Greenport. Main attractions include; Mitchell Park, home of the Antique Carousel. Observation deck, harbor walk, and marina. The Greenport Jail and Police Museum built in 1917.
At the end of the afternoon, the group will arrive at Laurel Lake Vineyards for a private wine tasting and dinner on their picturesque deck overlooking their lush vineyard.
Everyone will enjoy a lobster bake dinner consisting of steamed 1.5 lb Lobsters with butter and all the trimmings! Dinner comes with a glass of Laurel Lake Vineyards awarding-winning Chardonnay (perfect pairing) or a your choice of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. Additional wines may be purchased by-the-glass or bottle. Desert and live music follow as the sun sets on the vines.
