Baxter’s Pet Pantry in Lindenhurst, operated by Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank, makes free pet food and pet supplies available to pet-owning Nassau and Suffolk County families in need. Baxter’s Pet Pantry believes that when families with pets struggle with food insecurity, it can affect the family pet. They understand that pets are family and that preventing pets from going hungry, helps them stay home and stay healthy.
