First Squad Detectives report the arrest of an Ozone Park man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 3:59 pm in N. Bellmore.
 
According to detectives, officers responded to Walgreens located at 703 Newbridge Road on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Upon arrival, officers were notified a male currently in the store, made fraudulent purchases the prior day in the amount of $252.91. The subject used a female victim’s credit card through a cell phone application. Elijah Eugene, 27, of 10510-80 th Street, was arrested without incident.
 
During the investigation, it was determined Eugene was responsible for an additional larceny at Walgreens located at 2474 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow. The same victim’s credit card was fraudulently used for $459.26.
 
Defendant Eugene is charged with Grand Larceny 4 th Degree, two (2) counts of Identity Theft 3 rd Degree, two counts (2) of Unlawful Possession of Personal ID 3 rd Degree, Falsifying Business Records 1 st Degree and four (4) counts of Petit Larceny. He will be arraigned on Monday, February 19, 2024 at First District Court, Hempstead.
