AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an air quality health advisory for the following counties... Suffolk...Nassau...Richmond...Kings...Queens...New York...Bronx...Wes chester...Rockland. from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone . The Air Quality Index...or AQI...was created as an easy way to correlate levels of different pollutants to one scale. The higher the AQI value...the greater the health concern. When pollution levels are elevated...the New York State Department of Health recommends that individuals consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young...and those with preexisting respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting their personal physician. Social media pros, authors and leaders to "educate" at one-day conference

(New York, NY - February 10, 2012) Digital Brand Marketing Education (DBMEi), a not-for-profit educational resource for business owners and professionals, is presenting Social Media Action Camp on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Roger Smith Hotel at 501 Lexington Ave from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event is part of Social Media Week, which will be taking place in 21 cities across the globe from February 13th - 17th.

Social Media Action Camp is a one day conference designed to provide a digital communications learning environment for small business owners, social media enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn and directly ask questions from leading experts including representatives from Google, StumbleUpon, Constant Contact and Klout about the latest emerging trends in social and mobile media across all industries.

Social media marketing experts will cover important topics including branding, marketing, sales, networking and social media. Each session has a clearly stated sets of learning outcomes to keep the sessions on track and meet the expectations of the attendees. The keynote address will be given by David Mathison, founder and Managing Director of the Digital Media practice at Chadick Ellig, a premiere executive search consultancy named by Business Week as "one of the world's most influential headhunters." Mathison's book, BE THE MEDIA, was featured in The New York Times after he pre-sold over 5,000 copies in 11 days via his website, Twitter, and Facebook.
