CN Guidance & Counseling Service Calls Upon the Community to Help Those Living With Mental Health and Addiction Disorders This Holiday Season

Written by Central Nassau Guidance  |  01. December 2015

Hicksville, NY - November 30, 2015 - In the giving spirit of the holiday season, CN Guidance & Counseling Services asks Long Islanders join us in brightening the holiday experience of those living with mental health and addiction abuse disorders by participating in our Holiday Giving Programs.

During the winter and especially the holiday season, an increasing amount of individuals seek out mental health and addiction services. Many people experience higher levels of depression and anxiety throughout the winter months, with an even higher level of urgency during the holidays. During what is considered to be the most joyous time of year many people are suffering in silence. We need your help to reach as many Long Islanders as possible.

Join us through one of our Holiday Giving Programs– and help us make a difference. Consider adopting one of our families – and give a family in need a holiday they will remember forever. Contact Sabrina at 516-822-6111 x274 to help a family now.

This December we are holding a Holiday Raffle to allow us to continue to meet the growing needs of the community. This year’s first prize is $1,500. Tickets are sold for $25 each or 5 for $100. Second prize is a $500 Southwest Airlines gift card. Third Prize is a two night stay in Montauk with a $75 gift certificate to Harvest Restaurant, and 4th prize is two tickets for our 2016 Taste of Hope Gala. Tickets will be drawn on December 18th.
