Nassau County SPCA: Seven Dead Pit Bulls Discovered Dumped in Hempstead Sump

Hempstead, NY - Sept. 14, 2018 - The Nassau County SPCA is offering a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for placing seven dead Pit Bulls (4 females 2 males and a 3 month old PUPPY) in a NYS DOT Sump located at Dietz St and South Franklin St, Hempstead, NY that were found yesterday September 12, 2018. 

The Nassau County SPCA is offering this reward because it feels someone knows who placed these dogs there. We feel that it is necessary to use every available tool in fighting animal cruelty to ensure that the abusers face the  maximum penalty under the law!
