Nassau Authorities Seeking Suspects in Oyster Bay Street Mugging
Oyster Bay, NY - February 8, 2018 - Second Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 8:15 pm in Oyster Bay.
According to detectives, the male victim, 18, was parked and outside of his vehicle at Theodore Roosevelt Park. While leaning on his car, he was knocked to the ground by two (2) or three (3) unknown males. The subjects stuck the victim with their hands and demanded his money. One subject removed the victim’s wallet which contained an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, a debit card and credit card. The subjects fled in an unknown direction. There is no description of the subjects.
The victim suffered swelling to his face and right eye. He was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
