Hello 2015! Welcome to a new year and a new month here on Long Island! Despite the cold weather, shorter hours of sunlight, and anticipation of snow, there is still tons of fun to look forward to throughout the month of January! Go out and see one of your favorite bands play live at a local Long Island venue, spend some time on the ice at a nearby ice skating rink, pick up some fresh produce at a seasonal Winter farmer’s market, the options are endless!

Even on those days when you don’t want to leave the warmth of the house there is still plenty to do! Get nostalgic watching classic Winter movies! Or plan a fun adult night in complete with boards games and signature drinks! You can also spend the afternoon doing crafts with the family!

No matter what you decide to do, have some fun! Be sure to make the most out of your January, and you can start by checking out these great events and activities happening this month on Long Island!
