NCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Robbing Carle Place Chase Bank

Carle Place, NY - July 10th, 2014 - The Robbery Squad is investigating an attempted bank robbery that occurred on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 8:26 a.m. in Carle Place.

According to detectives, a male black subject, entered the Chase Bank located at 400 Old Country Road and displayed a handgun to a teller.  When the teller yelled to a co-worker the subject fled the bank without any proceeds. He was last seen on foot westbound on Old Country Road. He is further described as 6’2” tall, wearing a tan Panama style hat, black bandana over his face, a light blue buttoned down shirt and blue jeans. There were two employees in the bank at the time of the incident. There were no injuries reported.
