Suffolk PD Looking for Hit-and-Run Driver

North Lindenhurst, NY - February 26, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in North Lindenhurst last fall.
 
Corey Hall, 29, was crossing Route 109 at East Drive when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on October 4. Hall, of Brentwood, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip in serious condition. Detectives located the vehicle, identified as a black 2006 Mercedes Benz CL500, registered to Benedict Bacayon, 33, of Albermarle Avenue, West Babylon. Police are asking for help identifying the driver of the vehicle.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
